1. Eligibility
Refunds may be considered for charges within the last 14 days when there is:
- A clear billing error or accidental duplicate payment
- The service did not function as advertised and our support team is unable to resolve the issue
- Technical problems preventing video generation that we cannot fix within a reasonable timeframe
- Content policy violations incorrectly flagged by our sanitization system (after manual review)
2. Subscriptions
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
- We do not provide prorated or partial-period refunds after renewal
- You can cancel anytime from your account settings to stop future charges
- Videos generated before cancellation remain accessible according to your plan terms
- Unused video credits do not roll over and are not refundable
3. Free Plan and Pay-Per-Video
Our Free plan includes a trial video and pay-per-video option:
- 1 free video included when you create your account - try our service at no cost!
- Additional videos cost $2.99 each
- Once a video is successfully generated, the $2.99 charge is final and non-refundable
- We recommend reviewing your input (script or topic) carefully before generating
- If you're unsure about the output, consider upgrading to a paid plan for better value
4. Video Generation Credits
Due to the nature of AI services and associated costs (Google Cloud AI services):
- Video generation credits are consumed when a video is successfully created
- If video generation fails due to a system error, the credit will be restored to your account
- Credits consumed for successfully generated videos are not refundable
- You can preview optimized scripts before final video generation
5. Cryptocurrency Payments
All payments are processed through Cryptomus using cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC, ETH):
- Refunds are issued in the same cryptocurrency used for payment
- Refund amounts are calculated based on the USD value at the time of the original transaction
- Cryptocurrency transaction fees are non-refundable
- Processing times depend on blockchain confirmation times (typically 24-48 hours)
6. Add-Ons and Upgrades
- Watermark Removal Add-on ($15/month): Applies to videos generated after activation. Previously generated videos with watermarks cannot be retroactively changed.
- Extra Videos: Pay-per-video charges for videos beyond your plan quota are final once generated.
- Plan Upgrades: When upgrading mid-cycle, you receive immediate access to higher plan benefits. No refunds for the remaining time on the lower plan.
7. Billing Issues & Chargebacks
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first so we can help resolve the issue. Initiating a chargeback before contacting support may:
- Delay resolution of your issue
- Result in immediate account suspension
- Prevent us from investigating the problem properly
8. How to Request a Refund
Email our support team at support@channelgen.com with the subject "Refund Request" and include:
- Account email address
- Transaction ID from Cryptomus
- Date and amount of the charge
- Detailed reason for the request with any relevant screenshots or error messages
- Steps you've taken to resolve the issue
Our team typically responds within 2–3 business days.
9. Processing
If approved, refunds are issued to the original cryptocurrency wallet. Processing times vary by blockchain:
- USDT (TRC20): Typically 1-2 hours
- BTC: Typically 30 minutes to 2 hours
- ETH: Typically 15-30 minutes
Additional time may be required for network congestion or high-priority transaction fees.
10. Non-Refundable
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Fees older than 14 days
- Video generation credits already consumed (successfully generated videos)
- Unused credits from expired subscription periods
- Cryptocurrency transaction fees
- Account terminations due to policy violations or abuse
- Videos rejected during content policy sanitization (topics violating Google's policies)
- Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (subjective)
- Change of mind after successful video generation
11. Trial and Testing
We encourage users to:
- Start with the Free plan to test our service
- Review our demo videos and documentation
- Test with pay-per-video before committing to a subscription
- Contact support with any questions before upgrading
12. Fair Use
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that appear to be:
- Abusive or attempting to exploit our refund policy
- Part of a pattern of requesting refunds after consuming services
- Made after intensive use of the service
